Iptables port forwarding rules

iptables -t nat -A PREROUTING -p tcp --dport 21 -i <server's-ethernet> -j DNAT --to <remote-server-ip>:21
iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -p tcp -d <remote-server-ip> --dport 21 -j SNAT --to-source <server's-ip>

Problem

rpmdb: unable to join the environment
error: db4 error(11) from dbenv->open: Resource temporarily unavailable
error: cannot open Packages index using db3 - Resource temporarily unavailable (11)
error: cannot open Packages database in /var/lib/rpm


Solution:

Remove the existing db

#cd /var/lib/rpm
#rm -rf __db.*

Rebuild the db

#rpm --initdb
#rpm --rebuilddb
