The Misadventures of Penoi

My family's new place here in Singapore rocks!!! and i got my own small office too. Will post some pix once i've done arranging my things... time to upgrade my 2.1 speaker which i got as free on my Canon printer?? will see once my budget officer approved.

 

2 days to go before i join my family for KC's birthday party. Pretty darn excited. Been stressed lately and i need a break. Maybe, goodbye CLI for 1 week. After Redhat, next target Veritas filesystem and clustering.

It's wAs a long day. Yesterday my wife surprise me of the thing that I wanted since it came out... An Ipad2.. It is the 64G white version. This morning another gift she put on my home office table.. A Tommy Hillfiger watch... I'm deeply touched and appreciate the effort she and KC did this Father's day. Love you both...

Today is our last day of stay in Astoria Park singapore. We will surely miss this place because its nere Kembangan MRT. But hopefully next year when rental in Singapore goes down we will be back.

been busy for the past days.. my wife almost due with her pregnancy... my long overdue second Solaris exam that i need to complete before Oracle release Solaris 11 :) on that note i created my own Wiki page. Preparing one of Filipino's favorite delicacy adobo with my preggy wife. Yep you heard it right, my wife is pregnant.. Finally... Excited and nervous at the same time. This will be a new journey for us.. Having a baby and also having those sleepless nights as they said.  :)

First ever cyberinuman of all tambays circa 90's tonight at 11pm PHT.  Middle east, europe, australia, singapore and the philippines already confirmed. I still have half consumed Jack Daniels and Tiger beer. Thanks to modern day social networking that even though we don't see each again, we can still be in touch.

Home alone na ulit kami ni misis sa bahay. Umuwi na kasi si pinsan at ang gf niya sa Pinas. Sana kung babalik man sila dito sa SG eh suwertihin sila. Mahirap na nasanay na may kasama sa bahay. Kasama sa pagluluto, pagkain at panonood ng TFC.. at syempre mga download movies.. hehehehe...

Hanap pa din kami ni misis ng bagong malilipatan. End of contract na kasi ang bahay namin sa end ng november. Try din maghanap na makakashare sa rent.  Sana magkalinaw na this week ang lahat ng mga tiningnan naming room  last saturday.. Syempre, natawad kami sa rent.

It so frustrating and stressful in finding a new place to stay. Our lease will expire on the first week of december and still no luck with our current room viewing.

Mr Big Reunion Concert tonight!!!

Holiday na naman sa Pinas. At isa yan sa mga namimiss ko sa Pinas.  Long weekends at Christmas Vacation. Working overseas demands much of your time. Kung baga eh kain lang at tulog ang pahinga. Hindi na din magtama ang schedule namin ni Misis. Paano kami magkakaroon ng munting Penoi nito. :(

Tagalog muna tayo!!!! Night shift :( nakakahilo at nakakapagod sa katawan. Pero ang maganda dito, pagdating ng madaling araw eh wala na halos ginagawa. Hintay hintay lang ng mga alerts. Binisita ko ang dati kong blog na penoycentral.blogdrive.com Kuwela nga pla dati ang mga entry ko sa blog na kung saan eh wiling wili sa pagbabasa ang asawa ko ngayon.

Kasayang balik balikan ang mga entry ko noon. Hindi ko akalain na nakakapag-blog ako ng ganun. Siguro hindi masyadong busy at nabibigyan ng time ang blogging. Siguro magandang ibalik ko ang dating penoycentral. Hay bahala na...

I had my first Chuck Taylor when i was in my high school years. Shoes immortalized by Eraserheads in their Ultraelectromagneticpop album. Red in color bought using profit from selling sweet beans to my classmates.

Yesterday, my wife gave me Converse Chuck Taylor Metallica and Justice for All Edition as gift for our monthsary. Thanks Mama!!!

My native home town in San Pascual Batangas was hit by a tornado with hailstorm.  I could not imagine, not even in this lifetime that our town will experience snow(as the local folks believe in) Is this the effect of global warming? Where places that do not experience tornado has now tornado, places that do not experience typhoons, now experience typhoons, etc. So much for Knowing-like movies for me.

Today is my first day to jog without my wife. May work kasi siya ngayong umaga. Sana makasama siya sa susunod at magtuloy tuloy na ito kahit isang beses sa isang linggo. Kailangan ko na talaga ng exercise, at konting takbo lang eh pagod na ako. Tumatanda na talaga.

Marami namang nagjo-jogging sa Bedok Reservoir dito sa Singapore. 5 minutes bus ride lang from our flat. Kanya kanyang get-up ang mga tao. Merong akala mo ay kung saan lang pupunta, may mga lalaking malalaki ang katawan na nakahubad, at first time ko din makakita ng taong nagjo-jogging ng naka-apak. :) Next week ulit. Magpapagising ako ng maaga kay misis
