Last night i tried pluggin my cousin's Electric guitar and applied guitar effects using Guitar FX Box in my laptop. Effects box contains effects like Overdrive/Distortion, Echo, Reverb, Chorus, Wah-wah (AutoWah & EnvelopeWah), Pitch shifter, Tremolo, I/O Bass/Mid/Treble EQ controls, Compression and Phaser. and also it has a guitar tuner. Its a great tool for a home studio but not recommended on a real gig.

This service allows you convert a Flash Video / FLV file (YouTube's videos,etc) to MPEG4 (AVI/MOV/MP4/MP3/3GP) file online. It uses a compressed domain transcoder technology (outline in Japanese). It converts FLV to MPEG4 faster and less lossy than a typical transcoder.

When you submit an url, it will download and convert to the video format. Then you can download the converted file.

Now i can have my favorite Live songs in my Ipod. Cool Tool!!!

Its holiday today!!! Last day of Ramadan. Eventhough there's no office today, we will be in Subic for our company's global conference.

It seems Microsoft is hardening Windows XP security features in their SP3. Good thing Microsoft is still supporting XP. Another feature that i like is their Network Access Protection (NAP) due release in Windows Server 2008. NAP will check for updates and service packs and will disallow failed clients.
