I used to envy Doktor Hayden Kho. Good looks, good profession, great body and surrounded by beautiful old and young womens.
But after Kho's scandal circulate the internet and blue ray dvds in bangketa sells like hot cake, i realized that simple life is a blessing.

Morning exercise at Bedok Reservoir
Today is my first day to jog without my wife. May work kasi siya ngayong umaga. Sana makasama siya sa susunod at magtuloy tuloy na ito kahit isang beses sa isang linggo. Kailangan ko na talaga ng exercise, at konting takbo lang eh pagod na ako. Tumatanda na talaga.
Marami namang nagjo-jogging sa Bedok Reservoir dito sa Singapore. 5 minutes bus ride lang from our flat. Kanya kanyang get-up ang mga tao. Merong akala mo ay kung saan lang pupunta, may mga lalaking malalaki ang katawan na nakahubad, at first time ko din makakita ng taong nagjo-jogging ng naka-apak. :) Next week ulit. Magpapagising ako ng maaga kay misis

India post their first A(H1N1) swine flu case. So how can we protect ourselves from the flu. Be healthy, clean and put a lot of prayers. Tomorrow is San Pascual Baylon's fiesta, im sure our town will be infected by WINE flu :)

Back in Singapore!!!
Hay... after 3 weeks of vacation... we are back in singapore... and have to face reality in life.. ganun talaga noh... kahit galing ka na sa bakasyon eh pagod pa din ang katawan mo.. and masama pa nito.. night shift ako for one week.. nag-eedit pa kami ng wedding pictures at honeymoon.. so stay tuned for that..
Congrats nga pala sa Pambansang Kamao ng Pinas na si Manny Pacman Pacquiao.. Galing talaga niya!!!!
Wedding Preparations and Invites
Ah after months of non-stop preparations, finally, its about time to reach the peak. Rachel getting Married, errr not the movie.. But Rachel and i will finally take our vows before our Lord. Life is so fun!!! We accept cash as wedding gifts, hehehehe... will post wedding pictures soon!!!! Stay tuned!!!
Singapore First Pinoy Music Festival(and maybe the last)
Ah, my post for this event is so late. Happened last March 1 at the Marquee Singapore. Show starts at around 11:30 pm featuring the hottest band in the Philippines!!! 6Cyclemind, Afterimage, Bamboo, Imago, Razorback, Sandwich, Siakol and the Dawn. Sad thing Kamikazee, Parokya ni Edgar, Moonstar 88, and The Youth did not make it. The ticket lady said that they were already in Singapore but Singapore Immigration holds them(??). But there were buzz that because of the low turnout of ticket sales other bands appearance was canceled.
As Jet Pangan quote before playing "Iisang Bangka".... "Tayong lahat dito ay kasya sa isang maliit na bangka!!!!" and Raimund Marasigan's "Sa susunod na punta dito ng Sandwich, kaya naming punuin ito!!!"
Sad but true. Maybe wrong advertisement and marketing or just an effect of recession. Btw, this concert was the farewell gig for After Image, disbanding for the 2nd time. Wency Cornejo was so emotional while singing "Mangarap Ka" :(
Busy???
Rachel and i are super busy for the preparation of our wedding. Editing pictures, avp, invitation cards, venue, dress, food, etc. Hopefully everything will be fine as planned. Special thanks to our friends that are always there to help us.

Francis Magalona passes away
This is one of the scariest news that i dont want to read every time i open www.gmanews.tv but it already happens.. After a long battle with leukemia, Vic Sotto confirmed on Eat Bulaga that Francis Magalona passed away. Almost a day before the Eraserheads reunion concert. Irony for Ely Buendia, first his Mom, then his good buddy FrancisM.
Condolence to Francis Magalona's Family. May the Master Rapper's music lives on forever!!!!

Monte Maria Shrine in Batangas
Monte Maria Shrine is 45 minutes drive from Batangas City. A billion peso project of Father Fernando Suarez which becomes a center of critisism among priesthood because of the financial crisis that we have today. It is said that it will have a tall statue of Mama Mary, approximately taller than the Statue of Liberty. Though the project will take years to build up but it already opened opportunity to Batanguenos living near the shrine. Along the way you will see small stores that offer crops like camoteng kahoy, saging, etc.
Collapsing Pre-need companies
Marami sa ating mga kababayan ang nangangamba sa patuloy na pagbagsak ng mga Pre-need companies. Ito na lang sana ang magiging kaakibat natin sa kinabukasang pangangailangan. Aking naalala ng pumanaw ang aking ama. Mula noong mga bata pa kami, sa aming maliit na tindahan sa harap ng paaralan, matiyagang pinaghirapan ng aming mga magulang na bigyan kami ng magandang edukasyon mula sa pagtitinda ng mga kakanin, snacks, pansit, at kung ano ano pa. Dahil na rin sa kahirapan at hindi katiyakang kinabukasan, naengayong pasukin ng aking ina ang paghuhulog linggo linggo sa isang pre-need company. Meron siyang isang libreta na kung saan may sticker na ibinibigay ang agent na pumupunta sa tindahan namin na siya ding kumukolekta ng lingguhang hulog. Isa itong insurance at isang retirement package. Ilang taon din ang lumipas ang paghuhulog biglang hindi na kami binibisita ng agent.. Hindi alam ng aking mga magulang ang mga technical na detalye ng mga insurance, ang alam lang nila, may inihuhulog sila, may makukuha sila pag nangailangan. Nang sa hindi inaasahang pangyayari, yumao ang aking ama.. unang pinuntahan ng ina ko ang insurance at doon nabatid na technically wala na daw ang hulog nila kasama ng retirement at insurance kasi sa biglaang pagtigil ng kanilang hulog.. Kung ganon.. bakit hindi nila kami binigyan ng sulat or dili kaya pinuntahan ng mga bagong agent upang ipabatid na maaaring mawala ang mga hulog namin...pero hinayaan nilang magkaganoon... Naaawa ako sa aking inay noon... pinaghirapan nila pero nawalang parang bula dahil sa mga teknikal na usapin...
maging agresibo sana ang pamahalaan sa pagsubaybay sa mga kumpanyang tulad nito...

2008 is the longest year ever. With an additional of 1 second on the Earth's atomic clock it will be a "leap year" for us. So the countdown will be 4....3....2....1....1 Happy new Year!!!!!! May we have a prosperous 2009 !!!!! :)

New place!!!
First week of december we transferred to our new place in Singapore. It is a 3-room HDB unit as opposed to our first place in SG which is in a condominium( i really miss that place). The unit is decent and clean. The owner seldom stayed so everything in the place is quite new.
